In April of 2016, our Senior Pastor, Dr. Ed Carney, announced his retirement effective July 1, 2017. While we will miss Ed and Susan dearly, our Pastoral Search Committee has been prayerfully searching for the right candidate to become the new Senior Pastor at Riverland Hills. After receiving many applications, observing and interviewing applicants, and praying over the process, our search committee announced Dr. Ryan Pack as the prospective candidate. Following a church member vote on Sunday, June 18, 2017, we are excited to announce that Dr. Pack has accepted the call to become the Senior Pastor of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.

– Letter from the Pastoral Search Committee –

Dear Church Family,

Over the past 12 months, our Pastoral Search Committee has spent many hours praying for this transition, researching and interviewing potential candidates, and visiting churches around the country.

After all of this, we truly believe that Dr. Ryan Pack is the person that God has chosen to be our next Senior Pastor at Riverland Hills.

Each of the committee members, including myself, is amazed at how God has worked during this process. Every step of this journey has brought me closer to God and I feel confident that He has great plans for Riverland Hills under the leadership of Dr. Pack. Join me in believing in the future of our church.
