On His Call to Ministry:

“I had a sense at the age of 15 that God was calling me to ministry. God used a student minister to impact my life significantly. I felt my calling would involve standing before people teaching and preaching, however it has been a process through the years to understand all the ways God has called me to serve. One of the ways God uses me is to help people in crisis, and it seems the more intense the crisis, the more comfortable I am in helping them look to Jesus Christ.”

Education:

B.A. in Religion – Stetson University

Masters of Divinity – Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

Doctor of Ministry – Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

Favorite Book:

Sahara by Clive Cussler

Favorite Book of the Bible:

2 Timothy.  The reason I can relate to Paul’s colleague Timothy is his personality and calling is similar to my own.  The letter speaks to me in a very personal way because Paul was trying to encourage Timothy, and I love being able to encourage others.”
