Riverland Hills is now hiring a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to the Senior Adult Pastor and Executive Director of Business.
 
This position involves a mixture of administrative tasks as well as interaction with people. It requires a person with humility to do basic tasks, the intellect to handle projects and more intense tasks, and the people skills to interact successfully with a variety of people on behalf of their pastor. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist their pastor(s) and team in a variety of tasks/projects and duties assigned.
  • Communicate daily with pastor(s), updating and debriefing current projects and tasks.
  • Protect pastor(s) time and priorities.
  • Be a team player of Riverland Hills.
  • Handle communication with church members and others on behalf of pastor(s).
  • Work with volunteers and needed to help orchestrate scheduling and manage lists.
  • Aide in ministry-wide communication from the leadership.
  • Manage and organize Arena groups, tags, and mailing lists.
  • Plan, organize, and set up hospitality for meetings as assigned.
  • Handle all travel details and arrangements for off-site meetings and engagements.
  • Reconcile receipts and tracking of expenses.
  • Process church-wide background checks.
  • Serve as point of contact for church office equipment.
Riverland Hills is now hiring a Chef/Catering Coordinator. We are seeking a professional cook who is skilled in all aspects of food preparation, and kitchen management.
 
Their job duties include:
  • Planning: Creating menus for weekly Oasis, Wednesday Night meals, and special event meals as needed. 
  • Ordering: Keeping inventory and tracking food and equipment supplies.
  • Preparing: Overseeing food preparation and cooking, and checking food plating and temperature
  • Managing: Hiring and training other cooks and food preparation workers, and directing kitchen staff
  • Sanitizing: Maintaining sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen, and inspecting supplies, equipment, and work areas 

Five or more years of contemporary praise and worship band experience, light administration, studio recording/ editing experience is preferred.

  • Provide creative and administrative support for the Worship Pastor on a weekly basis including Sunday worship and special events.
  • Integrate technology into Sunday services as needed/or requested by the Worship Pastor.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Worship Pastor and Technical Director on Sunday mornings to ensure the integrity of the worship experience.
  • Assist the Worship Pastor in recruiting, training, and unifying team members.
  • Assist in the purchase and maintenance of the modern worship materials, supplies, instruments, technology and other equipment.
  • Research, develop and introduce new music at the request of the Worship Pastor.
  • Preferred candidates will feel called to ministry, specifically traditional style of Worship.
  • Must have experience in one or more of the following disciplines; vocal performance, instrumental performance or audio production.
  • Seminary student – preferred
  • Will work alongside of the Traditional Worship Pastor, paid staff, and volunteers in leading Worship on Sundays.
  • Ability to work Sundays and Wednesdays required.
