Riverland Hills Baptist Church is seeking a Content Creation and Communication Associate to work directly with the Communications Director and others within the organization to capture and produce quality content for web and social media use.

Position Summary
The Content Creation and Communication Associate is responsible for capturing photo and video content and producing engaging content marketing and promotional deliverables for web and social media use.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide creative direction and content creation services to help each ministry connect with people in the following areas: Website, Social Media, and other media resources as needed.
• Assist support staff in developing quality content in their respective areas of ministry.
• Stay current with content marketing and communications trends.
• Stay current with applicable software.
• Work with the Communications Director and others to draft and propose engaging content marketing and promotional strategies.
• Set up and maintain a workable process for work intake and output. Ensuring accurate and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Must be a believer of Jesus Christ and an active member of a Church of similar faith and beliefs; membership of Riverland Hills is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Videography, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or other applicable curriculum is required.
• Photography and social media management experience is required.
• Three or more years of relevant experience or education preferred.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software and familiar with branding and marketing concepts.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, and special events as needed
• Must embrace the Core Values associated with the church and employment.
• Organization and assertiveness skills are essential traits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong editing skills, are essential.

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time (hours vary based on church and event needs)

Position Summary:

Riverland Hills Baptist Church is seeking a passionate and organized Church Chef/Kitchen Coordinator to oversee and lead all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations. This individual will play a vital role in supporting our ministry through meal services for church events, Wednesday night dinners, special gatherings, and other hospitality needs. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, a heart for service, and the ability to manage both volunteers and logistics with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and cook meals for weekly church events and special occasions

2. Coordinate food service for Wednesday night suppers, church luncheons, and ministry functions

3. Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, inventory, and budgeting

4. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary environment according to DHEC standards

5. Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers to assist with meal prep, serving, and cleanup

6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas and equipment

7. Collaborate with staff and ministry leaders to support various church events with hospitality needs

8. Manage dietary restrictions or special meal requests as needed

Qualifications:

1. Prior experience in culinary arts, food service, or commercial kitchen management required

2. ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

3. Strong organizational and time management skills

4. Ability to lead and work alongside volunteers of all ages

5. A heart for ministry and serving others through hospitality

6. Physical ability to stand, lift, and work in a kitchen environment for extended periods

7. Alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Riverland Hills Baptist Church

Working Hours:
Primarily weekday hours with some evening and weekend responsibilities depending on the church calendar and events.
