Tim serves as the Discipleship Pastor and has been at Riverland Hills since 2001. He diligently seeks to help people become active, serving members of the Body of Christ. Tim is married to Cindy, and they have three children– Nathan, Rachel, and Benjamin, as well as three grandchildren.
“God called me into the ministry in 1987 and I was ordained by Warrior Creek Baptist Church in Gray Court, SC in 1990. My primary focus in ministry has been ‘to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ’ (Eph. 4:12 ESV).”

Any good thriller/spy novel!
Even before entering the ministry, the Book of Isaiah has been special to me. Not only does Isaiah foretell the birth of Jesus, but also details how He would suffer and die for my sins. Additionally, Isaiah 40:31 is one of my favorite verses: ‘But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
