Worship
Giving honor to God
We gather in worship.
On Sundays, God’s people meet together for the expressed purpose of collectively and single-mindedly worshiping our Triune God. God has invited the Church into His presence by the Holy Spirit through the blood of His Son, Jesus. According to God’s commands, we gather to read His Word, sing His Word, pray His Word, and hear the preaching of His Word in a gospel-shaped order.
We also observe believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper as a Church with regularity. The Riverland Hills Worship Ministry strives to serve God, His kingdom, and His Body by making disciples of Jesus through our Sunday morning gatherings.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!

Production
Time commitment: Sunday rehearsal and both services
Audio plays a pivotal part in the worship experience every Sunday. The person who is running the Front of House board is responsible for changing through pre-set scenes and making sure that all instruments, vocalists, and speakers are heard clearly and effectively. Experience in mixing audio, running a digital console, and/or familiarity with RHBC’s catalog of songs is a plus.
Time commitment: The 2 services with live preaching
We have 2-4 manned shots on Sunday morning. The video director will call on camera ops via headset to get specific shots throughout the service, and instruct you to tweak framing and focus as necessary. Photography or video experience is a bonus but not required.
Time commitment:
Wednesday rehearsal, Sunday morning rehearsal and services
During songs, we depend on timely slide changes for the worship team to lead well and the congregation to be able to focus on the truths of the lyrics. The Propresenter operator also follows along with the sermon and displays Scripture and promo slides during speaking moments.
Time commitment: The 2 services with live preaching
A skilled camera operator with good instincts and the ability to communicate while multitasking under pressure may graduate to directing. This position works with the tech director to enrich the congregation’s engagement with IMAG and deliver a quality livestream experience.
